It was another big night for Joshua Backos, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten rebounds for Bloomfield Christian School. The matchup was Backos' ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Snider, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Faith Baptist has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Bloomfield Christian School, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
Faith Baptist will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Juniata Christian at 7:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Bloomfield Christian School will be home for the holidays to greet Rochester Hills Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rochester Hills Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 357th, while Bloomfield Christian School is ranked 55th).
