Mariyon Sloan Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Thursday, Shafter got the W thanks in part to Mariyon Sloan playing the best football he has all season. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards.
Kennedy had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Sloan it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Sloan saw the Thunderbirds), he picked up 119 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
