Davin Orton posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
