Clear Lake will challenge Crestwood on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Crestwood will need to watch out since Clear Lake have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Clear Lake were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the contest and then some with a 46-0 victory last Friday over Hampton-Dumont/Cal. Followers of Clear Lake probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Crestwood have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 47-17 margin over Iowa Falls-Alden. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Crestwood's flat performance the matchup before.
Their wins bumped Crestwood to 2-3 and Clear Lake to 4-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
