This season hasn't been kind to the Joshua Springs Christian Lightning, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They took a 36-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Noli Indian on Monday.
Caden Almanza was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Salgado, who scored six points.
Joshua Springs Christian's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.2 points per game. As for Noli Indian, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-0.
Coincidentally, Joshua Springs Christian and Noli Indian will both be playing Weaver the next time they take the court. Noli Indian will host Weaver at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Joshua Springs Christian will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
