Ignacio were fully in charge last Saturday, breezing past Lake County 41-0. Ignacio was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-54, which was the final score in Crownpoint's tilt against Ruidoso last week. Crownpoint were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-48.
Ignacio's win lifted them to 2-0 while Crownpoint's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Ignacio can add another positive mark to their record or if Crownpoint can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Ignacio's step.
