The Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles lost against the Brewbaker Tech Rams back in December of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Booker T. Washington took a hard 45-30 fall against Brewbaker Tech. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Booker T. Washington has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Booker T. Washington saw an underclassman step up: Tylizea Sanders scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Fitzpatrick, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Brewbaker Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Booker T. Washington will take on LAMP at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. LAMP will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while Booker T. Washington is ranked 191st). Brewbaker Tech won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Demopolis at 1:00 p.m. on January 13th. Hopefully Demopolis focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 46 last Friday.
