Catalina Foothills won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Tuesday too. Catalina Foothills put the hurt on Mountain View with a sharp 14-2 victory. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Bryce Weege was a standout: he scored a run while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Brady Jeong was another key player, scoring two runs.

Catalina Foothills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Catalina Foothills' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain View, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Coming up, Catalina Foothills will host Sahuaro at 6:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Mountain View, they will head out to take on Buena at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
