Soccer Recap: Southside Wins Going Away Against Fort Payne

Southside barely beat Fort Payne the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Wildcats 4-1 on Tuesday. Considering Southside have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Southside pushed their record up to 16-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Fort Payne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-2 record this season.

Southside will head out to take on Susan Moore at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Payne, they will face off against Oak Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Oak Mountain will roll in looking for their 22nd straight win, something Fort Payne surely won't give up without a fight.
