The Karns Beavers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they face off against  the William Blount Governors  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Karns is headed out to face William Blount after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Karns took down Hardin Valley Academy 29-14  on Friday. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Beavers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 Karns' success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Doug Turner, who rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown, and   Austin Slover, who threw for 193 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes.
 Karns didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Brady Kittle. Karns got some further help from  Alex Idol: he made 11 total tackles.
 William Blount never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Austin-East last Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  36-12 margin over the Roadrunners.
 Karns came up short against William Blount in their previous meeting  back in August of 2023, falling  35-27. Can Karns avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
