The Kentridge Chargers will take on the Auburn Riverside Ravens at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kentridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

In other batting news, Kenzie Coble was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Naomi Benavides was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Auburn Riverside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Mt. Rainier with a sharp 20-5 win on Tuesday. The Ravens might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.
Makenna Vircks looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hannah Potter, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Watson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Auburn Riverside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Kentridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Auburn Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Kentridge has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .433.
