Larue County has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Larue County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,424 points over their last 21 games.
Last Friday, Larue County strolled past Caverna with points to spare, taking the game 63-47.
Larue County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Daniel Allen out in front who scored 29 points. Allen is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Blakey, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bethlehem ended up a good deal behind Campbellsville on Monday and lost 67-50. Bethlehem has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Larue County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Bethlehem, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9.
Larue County was able to grind out a solid victory over Bethlehem in their previous matchup back in February of 2021, winning 53-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Larue County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
