The Sultana Sultans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Calvary Chapel 71-53. The win was some much needed relief for Sultana as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sultana to victory, but perhaps none more so than Leland Price, who scored 13 points along with three steals. The match was Price's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alec Rodriguez, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Sultana's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Calvary Chapel, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
