The Pawnee Indians lost against the Nokomis Redskins back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pawnee took a serious blow against Nokomis, falling 57-27. Pawnee has struggled against Nokomis recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Nokomis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mackenzie Mehochko, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Kinley Stolte was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Pawnee's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Nokomis, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pawnee will be home for the holidays to greet New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nokomis will be home for the holidays to greet Gillespie at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
