Caverna have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Fort Knox at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Fort Knox will be strutting in after a win while Caverna will be stumbling in from a loss.
Things haven't been easy for Caverna, and their matchup two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-39 to Bethlehem. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Fort Knox ultimately got the result it was hoping for last Friday. They had just enough and edged out Webster County 30-27. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
