Northwestern better keep an eye on Mackenzie Beltz. She was instrumental in Rittman's win, getting 13 digs, five kills, and two aces. Beltz is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 17 games she's played dating back to last season.
Rittman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Rittman, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
