The Memorial Chargers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 85-10 win over Edison at home. That's another feather in the cap for Memorial, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Mataya Hall continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 45 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Asia Roper, who almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 13 rebounds, and nine steals.
Memorial's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Edison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.
Memorial will challenge Will Rogers College at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Will Rogers College will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Edison, Edison and McAlester will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. McAlester is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
