Pahrump Valley's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kailani Martinez, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, and Paris Coleman, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Martinez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Heaven Cooper was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at home and fell 70-11.
