It was a good run, but Orcutt Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a blow against the Lompoc Braves, falling 87-43. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 71-28 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Orcutt Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lompoc, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Orcutt Academy has already played their next matchup, a 50-40 victory against Coastal Christian on the 28th. As for Lompoc, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 79-71 win against Taft on the 28th.
