West Seneca East was led to victory by Hailey Alba and Melanie Marcezin. Alba scored ten points, while Marcezin scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Maryvale's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Seneca East, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
Maryvale will be playing at home against Lake Shore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Shore is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for West Seneca East, they will head out on the road to face off against Pioneer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pioneer's defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so West Seneca East's offense will have their work cut out for West Seneca East.
