Fredonia's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colin Luce, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 14 points and three blocks. Those three blocks gave Luce a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rj Koopman, who posted seven points in addition to six assists and five steals.
Fredonia has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Clarence, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Fredonia will venture away from home to challenge Allegany-Limestone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Allegany-Limestone knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Fredonia likes a good challenge. As for Clarence, they will welcome Pioneer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
