The Ellenville Blue Devils can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past Rhinebeck with points to spare, taking the game 44-28. For Ellenville, this counts as revenge for the 41-36 loss the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Ellenville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nevaeh Ramos, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Ramos also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Tawanya Harrington was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Ellenville's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Rhinebeck, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ellenville will challenge the Blazers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rhinebeck, they will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
