Bassett proved they can win big last Friday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the George Washington Eagles. The victory was nothing new for Bassett as they're now sitting on four straight.

Bassett picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-2. As for George Washington, they now have a losing record of 2-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bassett will square off against rival Magna Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, George Washington is set to face off against their familiar foe Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
