Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ramona). They blew past the Valley Center Jaguars, posting a 94-66 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted since November 21, 2024.

Ramona's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colin Dillon, who posted 23 points and five rebounds. The matchup was Dillon's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayden Bryant, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 19 points and three steals.

Ramona smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.

Defeat or not, Valley Center got some senior leadership from Lincoln Zetmeir and Dustin Hotchkiss. Zetmeir had 34 points, while Hotchkiss went 7 of 10 en route to 14 points and eight boards. That was a full 51.5% of Valley Center's points, marking the 18th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mitchell Stehly, who scored six points and five assists.

Ramona's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Valley Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.

Ramona didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-49 loss against University City on the 18th. Valley Center has also already played their next matchup, an 82-63 defeat against Fallbrook on the 21st.
