The North Rockland Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Ketcham Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
After only six points in their last contest, North Rockland made sure to put some points up on the board against Mount Vernon on Thursday. Everything went North Rockland's way against Mount Vernon as North Rockland made off with a 32-12 win. Considering North Rockland has won three contests by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
North Rockland can attribute much of their success to Gamie Sauveur, who rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. King Saint Fleur made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Ketcham brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They enjoyed a cozy 45-28 win over Yonkers Force [Gorton/Roosevelt/Yonkers Montessori Academy/Yonkers] on Friday.
North Rockland's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 19 points. As for Ketcham, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Everything came up roses for North Rockland against Ketcham in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 34-0 victory. Will North Rockland repeat their success, or does Ketcham have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
