The Chatham Central Bears put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 53-42 victory over Bartlett Yancey. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Chatham Central has scored all year.
Reid Albright continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Chatham Central's points. Logan Maness was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Chatham Central's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Bartlett Yancey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
Chatham Central won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Triangle Math & Science at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Triangle Math & Science is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Bartlett Yancey, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Western Alamance focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Friday.
