Volleyball Recap: Clear Creek Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Brooke Fowler and Elissa James

Clear Creek lost against Tompkins back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Falcons.

While Clear Creek was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22.

Clear Creek's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Elissa James, who had ten digs and two assists, and Brooke Fowler, who had five digs and two aces.

Clear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tompkins, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Clear Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Deer Park on the 15th. As for Tompkins, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Katy Taylor on the 15th.
