Taylea West put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 16 points along with five rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Maddieclaire Park was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Sam Rayburn beat Bland 54-50 on Tuesday.
Celeste has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-9 record this season. As for Sam Rayburn, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
