The Lafayette County Huskers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They claimed a resounding 57-6 victory over Carrollton on the road. The result was nothing new for Lafayette County, who have now won eight matches by 25 points or more so far this season.
Brock Page threw for 52 yards and a touchdown on only two passes. Mariano Rodriquez was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Lafayette County's victory was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 47 points. As for Carrollton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Lafayette County will be playing at home against Lone Jack/Kingsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lone Jack/Kingsville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Lafayette County is ranked 71st). As for Carrollton, they will head out on the road to face off against Warsaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
