The Indian Rocks Christian Eagles can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. Everything went their way against Bayshore Christian as Indian Rocks Christian made off with a 68-43 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Indian Rocks Christian.
Will Murphree was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Indian Rocks Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin McDonnel, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 19 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Bayshore Christian still got an impressive performance from Jace Jreisat, who scored 21 points. That was a full 48.8% of Bayshore Christian's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Tylan Lewis was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Indian Rocks Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Bayshore Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.
Indian Rocks Christian will face off against the BlueJackets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Admiral Farragut focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Tuesday.
