The Raymond Seagulls pushed their score all the way to 57 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Muckleshoot Tribal 62-57.
Despite the loss, Raymond still got an impressive performance from Talan Yearout, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Yearout continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Quintana, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Raymond's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4. As for Muckleshoot Tribal, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raymond won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hoquiam at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th. Hoquiam is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Muckleshoot Tribal won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Kalama at 4:00 p.m. on December 29th.
