Greenville was led to victory by Kylar Zimmerman and Mazeo "mj" bennett. Zimmerman rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown, while "mj" bennett gained 140 total yards and a touchdown. Zimmerman really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.
Greer's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Greenville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Greer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Greenville will head out on the road to face off against Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northwestern has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 646 points over their last 12 matchups.
