The Ambrose School's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mark Yenor, who shot 70% from the field to rack up 18 points and six rebounds. Yenor continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tristen Trevino, who posted 15 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Plymouth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cohen Evans, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Evans a new career-high in steals (three). Kaden Hawker was another key player, putting up 17 points and three steals.
The Ambrose School's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for New Plymouth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
The Ambrose School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Plymouth, they will take on Wendell at 12:00 p.m. on March 6th. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
