Cass City waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Ogemaw Heights Falcons 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-5 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Mason Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Matt Mellendorf, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Cass City's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-9. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Ogemaw Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.
