Baseball Recap: Kamiakin Has No Trouble Against Kennewick

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kamiakin and Kennewick meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Braves blew past the Lions 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Kamiakin's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Kennewick, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Kamiakin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair will be back at it again later today.
