Dj Johnson's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
 Starting off the list is Coosa's  Dj Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday  Johnson rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 Coosa dropped their record down to 3-5 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home. Johnson and Coosa will head out to  face off against Gordon Lee  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Carter Christiansen Delivers Best  Performance of Season
  Carter Christiansen produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Dade County to the win  on Friday. Christiansen rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 79-yard run.
 This season,  Christiansen  has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 27.5 rushing yards per game.

Carson Callihan's Big Game Leads Fannin County over Armuchee
 Fannin County picked up their eighth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Carson Callihan. Nobody could stop  Callihan as he rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. He is  on a roll when it comes to  rushing touchdowns, as he's  now  punched in two or more in the last seven games he's  played.
 Fannin County's win was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-0. Callihan and Fannin County will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gordon Lee at 7:30  p.m.  on November 1st.

Fannin County Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to  Brayden Taylor
  Brayden Taylor was instrumental in extending Fannin County's winning streak to eight on Friday. Nobody could stop  Taylor as he picked up 114 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making six total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
 For the year,  Taylor  has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 55.5 receiving yards per game.

Elijah Weaver and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
  Elijah Weaver was instrumental in extending Fannin County's winning streak to eight on Friday. Weaver was unstoppable, rushing for 16 yards and a touchdown, while also catching a touchdown.
 On the season,  Weaver  has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 44.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 0.29  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 2.29  rushing yards.
