The Mount Greylock Regional Mounties had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 51-38 to Brattleboro on Monday.
Brattleboro can attribute much of their success to Keagan Systo, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnathon Haskins, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Mount Greylock Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Brattleboro, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Greylock Regional will square off against Franklin County Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brattleboro, they will head out on the road to face off against Woodstock at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
