Alex Winters and Nathan Jarrell provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Christian Life. The connection was good for 60 yards, the longest such play in 1A District 7 this season.
Southern Lab moved up to 104 from 137 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 50-20 win over Archbishop Hannan helped the Kittens improve their standing.
Korey Zeigler and Korey Zeigler gave the Hawks a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Zeigler threw for 140 yards and one touchdown, while Zeigler ran for 86 yards. Teammate Michael Froeba added to the ground attack by rushing for 70 yards.

Zeigler has thrown for 522 yards this season, while Brooks, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 28 catches for 272 yards. The Yellowjackets' Brandon Lapharoahs leads the league in rushing yards with 490.
