Baseball Recap: Forbush Has No Trouble Against Wilkes Central

Forbush got themselves on the board against Wilkes Central on Wednesday, but Wilkes Central never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Falcons have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Colton Moxley, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Giovanni Casertano, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Forbush was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .528. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Forbush has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games.
