General Brown has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the South Jefferson Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Back in January, General Brown was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-54 to Potsdam. While losing is never fun, General Brown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 523rd, while Potsdam is ranked 223rd).
Meanwhile, South Jefferson escaped with a win on Saturday against Massena by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53.
General Brown's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for South Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 8-11 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
General Brown won a match that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in January, slipping by South Jefferson 39-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for General Brown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
