Volleyball Recap: Brooklyn Gets the Win

Brooklyn won the last time they faced Rhodes and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hurricanes walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rams. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes.

While Brooklyn won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21.

Niema Davis paced Brooklyn's offense, picking up five kills. Davis got some help from Katie Estrella and her three assists. Mia Glover controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brooklyn's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Rhodes, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Looking ahead, Brooklyn will take on Beachwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rhodes, they are taking a road trip to challenge John Hay at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
