Tri-Village is 7-2 against Arcanum since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Tri-Village Patriots will be home for the holidays to greet the Arcanum Trojans at 7:15 p.m. Tri-Village will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Tri-Village has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 33 points or more this season. They took their match on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 64-31 victory over Newton Local.
Meanwhile, Arcanum came up short against Dixie on Tuesday and fell 56-49.
Despite the loss, Arcanum saw an underclassman step up: Regan Christ scored 23 points. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for him. Caleb Burke was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Arcanum struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Tri-Village's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Arcanum, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.
Everything came up roses for Tri-Village against Arcanum in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 56-28 win. Does Tri-Village have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arcanum turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
