On Thursday De Soto take on Wonewoc-Center/Weston at 6:00 PM. De Soto are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Wonewoc-Center/Weston are stumbling in off of six consecutive losses.
Last Friday, De Soto put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took the match and then some with a 56-6 victory over North Crawford. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from De Soto's flat performance the match before.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Wonewoc-Center/Weston lost to Belmont, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-40.
De Soto's win lifted them to 5-2 while Wonewoc-Center/Weston's loss dropped them down to 0-6. We'll see if De Soto's success rolls on or if Wonewoc-Center/Weston are able to steal their positive momentum.
