The Harbor Creek Huskies's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the McDowell Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Harbor Creek will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Trojans are ranked 30th).
Last Tuesday, Harbor Creek earned a 48-38 victory over the Bison.
Harbor Creek relied on the efforts of Braylen Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds, and JT Delsandro, who scored 27 points. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games he's played. Hayden Dylewski was another key contributor, scoring three points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, McDowell pushed their score all the way to 67 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 74-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of Erie. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (65), McDowell still had to take the loss.
Harbor Creek now has a winning record of 9-8. As for McDowell, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3.
