The Kokomo Wildkats lost to the Logansport Berries back in January of 2023, but the Kokomo Wildkats didn't allow the Logansport Berries the same satisfaction on Friday. Kokomo simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Logansport 54-25 at home. With Kokomo ahead 33-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
It was another big night for Aijia Elliott, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ma'Kaela Drake, who scored five points along with three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Kokomo and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for Logansport, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Kokomo will head out on the road to face off against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Logansport, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Rochester at 7:30 p.m.
