The West Stanly Colts are taking a road trip to  square off against the North Rowan Cavaliers  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
West Stanly is headed into Wednesday's   contest  following a  draw, the team's first since September 17. Neither they nor South Rowan could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for  a  1-1 draw.
 Meanwhile, North Rowan lost  5-2 to Thomasville on Thursday. North Rowan have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 With that  draw, West Stanly's record moves to 10-10-2. As for North Rowan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13-3.
 West Stanly was able to grind out a solid  win over North Rowan in their previous meeting  back in August, winning  2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
