After a string of five wins, Southern Lab's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 13-2 to the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Kittens couldn't push the score so high this time.

Southern Lab saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Gordon, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Gordon has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played.

Southern Lab's record now sits at 7-4. As for Woodlawn-B.R., the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-13 record.

Coming up, Southern Lab will square off against Mentorship Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Southern Lab has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Woodlawn-B.R., a feisty cat fight will be fought as Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers challenge Central Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
