The Oakfield-Alabama/Elba Aggies fell victim to the Avon Braves''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Braves, falling 40-0. Oakfield-Alabama/Elba has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kalman Dolgos had an outrageously good game for Avon as he rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also picked up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Dolgos' longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. Another player making a difference was Chris Thompson, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Oakfield-Alabama/Elba has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Avon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
