The Omaha Eagles won the last time they faced the Lead Hill Tigers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Omaha blew past Lead Hill 74-49. Given Omaha's advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Lead Hill is ranked 234th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lead Hill's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nicklas May, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cedomir Petrovic, who scored 10 points along with 4 blocks.
Omaha's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Lead Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Kingston the next time they take the court. Lead Hill will host Kingston at 5:50 p.m. on Friday, while Omaha will host them at 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
