The Fairview Knights's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past Sierra 50-12 on the road. With Fairview ahead 24-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Among those leading the charge was Bella Chang, who scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 steals. The matchup was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lila Nuttle, who scored 12 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Sierra struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Fairview racked up 12.
Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Sierra, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Fairview's road trip will continue as they head out to face Boulder at 10:00 a.m. on December 9th. Boulder presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fairview in Colorado (Boulder is ranked 46th, while Fairview is ranked 137th). As for Sierra, they will square off against DSST: Conservatory Green at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. DSST: Conservatory Green is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
